My name is Shampa, the founder and designer behind Duhita.

Duhita, meaning “daughter”, is not just a name—it is an emotion. The inspiration comes from my mother’s unconditional love for designer sarees, a passion that quietly shaped my own appreciation for fabrics, colors, and timeless elegance. That love became the soul of Duhita.

By profession, I am an engineer and spent many years working as a consultant for steel plants. While my career was deeply fulfilling, a dormant dream always lived within me—to create something artistic, personal, and meaningful for women like me. After completing my professional journey, that dream finally took form and Duhita was born.

My design philosophy is rooted in experimenting with styles, colors, and concepts, while always preserving a traditional touch. I draw inspiration from people of all walks of life and believe fashion should be inclusive, expressive, and accessible.
